Regarded as the ‘’first and only in its class’’ and compared to a boutique luxury hotel by the October  , 2013 press release, The Golden Residences at Floral Park truly raised the bar in the affordable rental housing market, and thus, enhancing the quality of life of the senior citizens in the metro area of San Juan. It comprises a 14 stories elderly apartment building with 160 one bedroom units for rent to low income families over 60 years of age. The units are distributed from the ground to the fourteen floor: four apartments in the ground floor and 12 per floors 2 to 14. The project features modern and exquisite recreational and administrative facilities, such as a boutique style hotel entrance, an air conditioned activities room with full kitchen which opens up to a lush vegetation and landscaped backyard, a gym, a fully furnished tv room, a games room, a medical examination room, an administration office, a laundry room, among many other amenities. The project also has an emergency generator backup for 100% of the building. The units have one bedroom with a walking closet, one bathroom, living-dining area and kitchen in an area of approximately 538 square feet. Also, the units include energy savings and eco friendly appliances such as, refrigerator, range/oven and exhaust fan, among others.

One of the key attractions of The Golden Residences @ Floral Park is the solar panels system in the roof of the building that will generate over 80% of all the energy consumption of the Project. This renewable energy incentive not only complies with the 2013 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) purpose of saving and producing clean energy, but also contributes to the local economy as it will be an employment and income source.
